Join us for Brisbane’s Ultimate State of Origin Lunch in 2026. This is Brisbane’s BIGGEST and BEST corporate lunch. 
Celebrate 20 years since the 2006 series that ignited Queensland’s eight straight dynasty, this year’s lunch will feature an outstanding mix of Origin greats and personalities from that series including Darren Lockyer, Paul Gallen, Nathan Hindmarsh, Sam Thaiday, Willie Mason, Steve Price, Nate Myles and MC James Bracey.

Be there with your valued clients for an afternoon of entertainment and laughs with some of the biggest names in Rugby League.

Your package will include a 4.5 hour premium wine and beverage package, including a gourmet 3-course lunch, live entertainment and special guests telling behind the scenes stories rarely heard.

Arrival from 11:30am for beverages before a 12:00pm lunch commencement and 4 hour event until the conclusion at 4:00pm before the post-event party continues within the Star Casino (cash bar in operation).

Sam Thaiday

A powerful and energetic forward, Sam Thaiday played an important role for Queensland during the 2006 State of Origin series. Bringing aggression, enthusiasm and strong carries through the middle, Thaiday helped provide momentum for the Maroons as they laid the foundations for what would become one of the most dominant eras in Origin history.

A tireless worker and one of New South Wales’ most respected forwards, Nathan Hindmarsh played a key role in the 2006 State of Origin series. Known for his relentless defence and high work rate, Hindmarsh led from the front for the Blues, consistently putting his body on the line in one of the most fiercely contested series of the modern era.

A respected veteran and inspirational forward, Steve Price brought experience and leadership to Queensland during the 2006 State of Origin series. Leading from the front with tough carries and tireless defence, Price helped set the standard for the Maroons as they began a historic era of dominance.

Known for his aggressive running and imposing physicality, Mason provided the Blues with go forward through the middle and was a constant threat with ball in hand during a fiercely contested series.

A tough and uncompromising forward, Nate Miles made his State of Origin debut for Queensland in the 2006 series. Bringing strong defence and powerful runs through the middle, Miles quickly proved he belonged at the highest level, playing an important role as the Maroons began what would become a historic period of dominance.
